Dry Fitting the Legs
Most folks will find this to be the easy part of the process, but don’t over look these steps.
Take time to ‘dry fit’ the legs to the logs. Doing this now, before applying any glue, may save you extra clean-up time just in case you need to make any final adjustments to the legs. Or the logs.
Basic Sanding Tips
Now is a good time to rough sand your project.
Rough sanding the legs and the logs for your three legged stool is usually easier before final assembly. Keep in mind though, final sanding will still be needed after assembling all the parts.
Final Assembly
When it comes time for final assembly you have several options. There are many quality woodworking adhesives on the market today. In the video I am using Liquid Nails but there are other quality products that will do the job just as well.
